MADCON first burst on to the UK music scene in August 2008 when their single ‘Beggin’’ became a Top 5 summer smash and notched up sales of over 2 million worldwide.

They are massive Petrol Heads and can't wait to join us on our 3000 mile US adventure from Coast to Coast in May!

With two teams on the grid they're now trying to work out what cars will best reflect their personalities....We're sure they'll pick something with a hell of a sound system!

Madcon’s songs Beggin’ and Glow have a combined total of more than 60 million views on Youtube...

'Beggin’ recently achieved Gold status in the US with more than 500.000 units sold. It also earned the duo a World Music Award and topped the charts in France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Austria, Belgium and Norway!!!!!! An incredible achievement!

Madcon have worked with talented producers like Stargate, Jonas Jeberg and Element and had featured collaborations with artists Ne-Yo, Pitbull and Ludacris.

Madcon perfomed their multiplatinum smash single "Glow” during the "Eurovision 2010 finale”. The performance gathered the worlds largest Flash Mob of all times, with more than 250.000 people dancing to Madcon's song all over Europe!!!

At the ESKA Music Awards in 2011 they were awarded the International Band of the Year!!!

With a sound that has elements of everything from soul, funk and reggae, comparisons have been drawn to bands like Outkast, Gnarls Barkley and the Black Eyed Peas. Coupled with support shows for the likes of Alicia Keys, 50 Cent and the Wu-Tang Clan, MADCON have been able to hone their sound and live shows into thrilling spectacles.

Their pop appeal is also influenced largely by both retro and urban influences, in part due to their international roots. Tshawe Baqwa has South African parents, was born in Germany and grew up in a suburb in Oslo, Norway. Yosef Wolde-Mariam was born in Norway, his parents are from Ethiopia and Eritrea.

We're sure they are going to be an awesome addition to the 2012 grid and we can't wait to hear their new sounds

...let's hope there are some spontaneous performances on the road!
