Time for Ken Block car porn!

Since Gumball kick-started Ken Block’s love for cars and rally driving back in 2005 he’s become one of the most famous drivers on the planet. It’s been a little while since I watched a bit of Gymkhana car porn and I’d forgotten just how good these videos are!  

With Universal Studios as the backdrop for Gymkhana FOUR: Megamercial video, Block appropriately enlisted help from director Ben Conrad best known for his works on cult-classic Zombieland, to create an ultimate mashup of iconic Hollywood films – debris field from War of the World, Jaw‘s mechanical shark, Norman Bates’ newest slay from Psycho, even a reference of Slumdog Millionaire. 

Accompanied with enough GoPro cameras recreate Matrix‘s “bullet time” sequence, Kens throws around his heavily modified Ford Fiesta aptly called Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle (H.F.H.V.) in a pretty impressive way to say the least! This video now has over 15 million You Tube views, and the whole Gymkhana series must be over 100 million by now....not bad going!

Now a works WRC rally driver for Ford, back in 2005 Ken and DC Shoes entered these 3 Scooby Doo’s into the Gumball, along with Fantasy Factory’s Rob Dyrdek, Big Black, and design guru Damon Way.

We think it’s about time that Ken, Rob, BB and Damon did the Gumball again...don’t you?
