X Games medalist & Olympic hopeful Ski Freestyler Jon Olsson joins the 2012 rally grid!

Its awesome to announce Gumball Ski legend Jon Olsson has entered two cars on the 2012 grid!  We grabbed a few words from him on the slopes... 

• Name: Jon Olsson

• Brief Biography of your career: 11 X games medals in Ski Freestyle (Big Air, Slopestyle, Half Pipe) Now aiming for the 2014 Olympics in Ski racing!

• First Car? Maza B2000 Pick up (with flames!)

• Best Car ever owned? BMW M3 CSL

• What cars do you have in your garage? Lamborghini Gallardo "Ski transporter" and Rebellion R1K

• Why Gumball 3000? Because I drive 70,000km per year and love every minute of it! During Gumball I have 100 cars doing the same thing as I love, to drive side by side makes these 3000 miles extra memorable. That and the fact that reality stops when all these cars take to the road, this is the best week of my year!!!

• What car are you bringing on the 2012 rally? I am most likely bring Rebellion R1k and one more V10 powered car, what it will be is not 100% set yet...keep posted!

• What do you look for in a Co-driver? Someone who is a great driver and a great friend. I need to be able to sleep at 150km/h so I need to trust my co drive 100%. Finding that in a guy that loves to party for 7 days straight is not that easy... ;-)

• Who would be your dream Co-driver? Kim Dotcom

• Which check point on the 2012 route are you most looking forward to? Vegas, only been for 24h in the past so I am stoked!

• Who do you think is the ultimate Gumballer? Kim Dotcom

• What tips would you give a brand new Gumballer? Don't take it too seriously, bring a great Nav system (Tom Tom is the best) just have fun and enjoy it! You are all going to love it !!!!!
